Isle of Bute Livestock Group is organising a series of monthly Discussion Group meetings between October and March and summer farm visits.

A wide range of livestock topics will be covered, by mainland speakers, which will be of interest to all livestock producers. You are cordially invited to attend.

The Groups objectives are to :-

  • Achieve a high health status for all cattle bred or imported on to the Isle of Bute
  • Implement a local herd health programme
  • Create a marketing opportunity for breeding stock, stores, finished cattle and dairy products
  • Organise a discussion forum for the exchange of technical information
  • Provide a cattle record keeping service
